| FUNCIONES | • Conduct detailed seismic interpretation (2D and 3D) of datasets from the Niger Delta region. • Perform structural modeling and analysis integrating seismic and well data. • Collaborate closely with TotalEnergies geoscience teams based in Pau, France. • Participate in fieldwork related to salt and shale tectonics when required. • Contribute to the preparation of scientific reports, presentations, and publications. • Engage in regular meetings and workshops with project partners and stakeholders. • Support knowledge exchange and foster collaboration between the University of Granada and TotalEnergies. • Assist in the development of new methodologies or workflows for seismic interpretation and structural modeling within the project. |
| CRITERIOS | FORMACIÓN: * PhD degree in Geosciences. * Completion of specialized doctoral or postgraduate courses in salt and shale tectonics, seismic interpretation, or related fields is desirable. EXPERIENCIA: * Strong background in structural geology, sedimentology, and seismic interpretation. * Demonstrated experience with salt and shale tectonics is mandatory. * Prior research experience in relevant geological settings (e.g., fold-thrust belts, sedimentary basins) is highly recommended. * Experience in fieldwork and data acquisition is beneficial. OTROS CRITERIOS: * Strong publication records appropriate to career stage. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Proven ability to work in international and interdisciplinary research environments. |
